Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of Kangfuxin Liquid on inflammatory factors, oral microecology, immune function and quality of life in children with recurrent oral ulcer.
Methods A total of 102 children with recurrent oral ulcer who were treated in our hospital from January 2017 to April 2019 were enrolled in the study. The 102 children were randomly divided into two groups by random number method, 51 cases in each group. The control group received multivitamin B treatment. The observation group was given Kangfuxin Liquid. After treatment, changes in inflammatory factor levels, oral flora, immune indicators, and quality of life in the two groups were observed.
Results After treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-2 in both groups were decreased(all
P<0.05), and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(all
P<0.05). After treatment, the content of virogenes in the observation group increased from(7.54±1.43)lg copies/mL to(8.86±1.64)lg copies/mL, higher than that in the control group(8.15±1.57)lg copies/mL(
t=2.233,
P=0.028), and the content of streptococcus increased from(6.98±1.2)lg copies/mL to(8.15±1.58)lg copies/mL, Higher than the control group(7.46±1.40)lg copies/mL(
t=2.334,
P=0.022). After treatment, the levels of CD3
+, CD4
+, CD4
+/CD8
+, CD8
+, SF-36 and OHIP-14 in both groups were improved, and the improvement effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group(all
P<0.05).
Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquid can effectively improve inflammatory factor levels, oral micro-ecological balance, immune function and quality of life in children with recurrent oral ulcer.
