Abstract: Objective To study cervical carcinoma vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and remodeling and spacing factor l(Rsf-1) expression in cervical cancer tissues,and to analyze the correlation of VEGF and Rsf-1 with onset age,clinical stage,histological type,pathological stage and lymph node metastasis status,to explore their combined application in pathological diagnosis of cervical carcinoma. Methods Fifty-six cases of cervical cancer were selected as observation group,which were treated by operation and pathological diagnosis.Fifty-six cases of normal cervical tissues were selected as control group.The expression of VEGF and Rsf-1 were detected by immunohistochemistry.There was no significant difference in the positive expression of VEGF and Rsf-1 in the observation group at different age stages,histological types and FIGO stages of cervical cancer. Results The positive expression of VEGF in the control group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The positive expression of Rsf-1 in the control group was also higher than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the positive expression of VEGF and Rsf-1 factors in the observation group at different age stages,histological types and FIGO stages of cervical cancer.But the differences were statistically significant in pathological grading and lymph node metastasis for both factors(P<0.05). Conclusion The high expressions of VEGF and Rsf-1 in cervical cancer tissues are associated with cervical cancer occurrence and development and prognosis.They may be used as prognostic indicators of cervical cancer occurrence in the laboratory and clinical pathology to diagnose and evaluate the patients with cervical cancer occurrence.
