Abstract: Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of gravitational tube feeding together with oral motor in premature infants with feeding intolerance,and to provide evidence for the preterm infant feeding. Methods A total of 122 premature infants diagnosed as feeding intolerance were randomly divided into control group A,control group B and observation group C.The control group A with 40 cases received conventional tube feeding,the control group B with 38 cases were given conventional tube feeding combined with Fucile's Oral Motor Interventions,the observation group C with 44 cases was treated with gravitational tube feeding and Fucile's Oral Motor Interventions.We observed when gastric retention disappeared,when gastro-esophageal reflux disappeared,when birth weight regained,and the oral feeding time as well as hospital stay.Variance analysis was used to compare the nursing effect of the three groups,with P<0.05 showing statistical significance. Results All indexes in observation group C were significantly shorter those in control group A and B(P<0.05).Gastro-esophageal reflux,birth weight regain and the length of hospitalization in control group B is superior to those in control group A. Conclusion Combined treatment with gravitational tube feeding and oral motor can effectively reduce the rate of feeding intolerance in preterm.It is beneficial to shorten the time necessary to switch from tube feeding to per-oral feeding,and reduce the duration of hospital stays.It is valuable to widely popularize this method in clinical practice.
