Objective To know the epidemiology of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in Yaoshan community of Tongling City, and explore the integrated prevention and treatment mode of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in Tongling city community.
Methods The Yaoshan community in Tongguan District of Tongling City was identified as a screening point by convenient sampling method. The residents over 40 years old were listed as targets for screening and intervention. The number of screening and comprehensive interventions was determined to be 6 182. An epidemiological survey of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases was conducted for all residents(32 487 person-time) of the community in 2015-2017.
Results Among residents over 40 years old in Yaoshan Community, proportion of population with hypertension, hyperlipemia, diabetes, smoking, overweight, history of stroke, auricular fibrillation, history of transient ischemic attack(TIA) were 24.44%, 7.78%, 6.94%, 24.20%, 11.36%, 1.78%, 0.26%, 0.10%, respectively. The average incidence of stroke in residents of Yaoshan community was lower than that in Tongguan District, the difference was statistically significant(χ
2=9.734,
P=0.002). The stroke mortality rate was consistent with that in Tongguan District, and the incidence and mortality did not increase or decrease year by year. From 2015 to 2017, the incidence rate and mortality rate of heart disease were consistent with that of Tongguan district, and the incidence rate showed an increasing trend year by year(χ

Conclusion The prevalence characteristics of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among the people over 40 years old in Yaoshan community were consistent and different from that of the general population of Tongguan District in Tongling City. Different prevention and control programs can be developed for different communities through integrated screening. Finally, the integrated prevention and treatment mode of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases will be formed.
