Clinical analysis of surround-mammary areola incision in the surgery of mammary fibroadenoma

Objective To compared the operation method of surround-mammary areola incision with traditional radial incision operation and analyze the clinical effects of mammary fibroadenoma to provide the clinical value of surround-mammary areola incision. Methods From January 2013 to January 2015,100 patients who were diagnosed with mammary fibroadenoma by breast ultrasound,breast molybdenum target,and breast fine needle aspiration cytology,were divided into two groups,the experiment group(50 cases) and the control group(50 cases),by digital random method .The experiment group take the method of surround-mammary areola incision operation,however,the control group adopt the way of the traditional radial incision operation,and the clinical curative effect and beautiful effect,complications,and postoperative recurrence were compared.We adopted the SPSS 18.0 and statistically analyzed all data by χ² test,P＜0.05 statistically significant. Results The experimental group’s overall efficiency is 94.00%,significantly higher than that of control group(66.00%) at the aspect of clinical efficacy and its difference was statistically significant(χ²=12.500，P＜0.001);the experiment group’s satisfaction was 96.00% higher than that of the control group in beautiful effect and its difference was statistically significant(χ²=10.714，P=0.001);however,in respect of complications,the group’s overall concurrent rate is only 6.00%(2 cases of hematoncus,1 case of areola paresthesia)far lower than the control group(22.00%,6 cases of of hematoncus,3 cases of areola paresthesia,2 cases of nipple discharge) and its difference was statistically significant(χ²=5.316，P=0.021);in terms of relapse,the experimental group recurrence rate was only 4.00%,significantly lower than 18.00% in the control group,and the above mentioned difference was statistically significant (χ²=5.005，P=0.025). Conclusion Compared with traditional radial incision operation,the method of surround-mammary areola incision operation can effectively treat mammary fibroadenoma,and its clinical and beautiful effect is good,the complications and recurrence rate is low,so it is worth popularizing in the clinic practice.
