Clinical observation of using integrative medicine to treat osteoporosis of urban white collar

Objective To discuss the curative effects and clinical safety of using integrative medicine to treat osteoporosis of urban white collar. Methods From January 2014 to January 2015,112 cases of patients with osteoporosis in our hospital were chosen and divided into the observation group and the control group using random number methods (56 cases in each group).The control group were treated with conventional western medicine(Allen sodium phosphate tablets),while the observation group had Bushen Jiangu soup on basis of the control group treatment.Both groups of patients had 3 months of treatment. Results Three months after treatment the total effective rate in the observation group was 96.4%,significantly higher than that in the control group 76.8%(χ²=9.314,P＜0.05).Three months after treatment traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of the two groups had significant reductions in the total integral (all P＜0.05),but the observation group decreased more obviously(P＜0.05).Treatment for 3 months,the lumbar spine bone mineral density of the two groups significant increased in the L_2～4(all P＜0.05),but the observation group increased more obviously(P＜0.05).Treatment for 3 months bone turnover biochemical markers in the two groups had significant reduction(both P＜0.05),but the observation group decreased more obviously(P＜0.05).During treatment liver and kidney functions in both groups were within the normal range,and adverse reactions in the two groups were mainly gastrointestinal reaction,which could be tolerated and all patients had no drug withdrawal. Conclusion Using allen sodium phosphate tablets combined with Jianpi zhuanggu soup to treat osteoporosis has better clinical curative effects and higher clinical safety,worthy of clinical promotion.
