Clinic effect of Bushenhuoxuetiaojing decoction in treatment of 40 cases of polycystic ovary syndrome

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Bushen Huoxue Tiaojing Decoction in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),and provide guidance for the clinical medication. Methods The clinical data of 75 PCOS in our hospital between March 2013 and February 2015 were reviewed.The patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group according to hospital admission orders.35 cases in the control group was given spironolactone tablets 40 mg,2 times/d,continuous administration for 20 d;Metformin tablets 0.5 g,3 times/d,to stop when normal ovulation;Clomiphene capsule 50 mg/d,5 d;Vitamin C 200 mg,3 times/d,20 d.While 40 cases in the observation group,on the base of treatment in the control group,was given Bushen Huoxue Tiaojing decoction,twice a day,taking it in morning and evening.Since the 7th day of the menstrual cycle,continuous administration for 3 d and discontinuance phase for 1d as one course,total 3 courses.The therapeutic effect,changes in uterine blood flow and hormone levels were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 92.5% and in the control group was 71.4%,the difference was significant(P＜0.01);The follicular maturation rate,restoration of ovulation,pregnancy rate in the observation group were significantly better as compared with the control group(P＜0.05);After the treatment,The levels of LH,T,LH/FSH,RI and PI in observation group were significantly improved,and is superior to the results in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion Bushen Huoxue Tiaojing decoction is effective in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS),it can improve the blood perfusion in uterine and ovary,regulate hormone levels,profit ovulation,and improve pregnancy rate.
