Objective To evaluate the effect of perinatal nursing care and nutrition intervention on diabetes during pregnancy and its influence on the outcome of the newborn, and provide reference for clinical treatment.
Methods Total 96 cases of diabetes during pregnancy in our hospital from June,2013 to June,2015 were selected and randomly divided into control group and experience group according to the different nursing methods. The control group was given routine nursing care, while the experience group received perinatal nursing care and nutrition intervention. The fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2 h postprandial plasma glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),triglyceride(TG),cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C) and high density lipoprotein(HDL-C) of the two groups were tested. The incidence of gestational hypertension, the rate of cesarean section and neonatal complications were recorded to assess the maternal infant prognosis.
Results FPG and PPG on the first week after the intervention in the experience group were superior to the control group(
P<0.05);TG and TC on discharge in the experience group were much lower than those in the control group(
P<0.05);when compare with the control group, the occurrence of hypertension of pregnancy, rate of cesarean section and the occurrence of neonatal complications in the experience group decreased greatly(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Strengthening perinatal nursing care and nutrition intervention are benefit for controlling blood sugar and blood lipid and improving the outcome of mother and infants.
