Objective To analyze the influencing factors of maternal breast feeding self-efficacy,and to investigate the intervention effect of QCC on breastfeeding self-efficacy,provide the basis for obstetrics quality control circle.
Methods The 189 hospital outpatient reviewed maternal from April 2011 to December 2011 were selected as the research object.Designed the questionnaire on the basis of consulting the relevant literature and consulting experts, including the basic situation, social support and knowledge of breast feeding.Used Chinese version of the breastfeeding self efficacy scale to measure breast feeding self-efficacy,used the Likert 5 score method to evaluate breast feeding self-efficacy.The effect of quality control circle intervention used experimental study.First, the first obstetrical and second obstetrical puerperants in the early admission to the Chinese version of breastfeeding self efficacy scale were used. Then, the first obstetrical puerperants were set in observation group and treated with quality control circle on the basis of conventional care. The second obstetrical puerperants were set in control group and treated only conventional care. Two groups of puerperants in the Chinese version of breastfeeding self efficacy measurement at discharged.
Results The total score of 189 maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy scores ranged from 62 to 150,the average score was 103.3±13.6.Single factor T test analysis found that age, mode of delivery, parity, family monthly mean income of maternal exist significant difference(
P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age, mode of delivery, parity is affecting breastfeeding self-efficacy independent factors. There was significant difference in breast feeding self-efficacy(
P<0.05) in the observation group at admission and discharge. There was no significant difference in the efficacy of breast feeding(
P>0.05) in the control group at admission and discharge.
Conclusion Age,mode of delivery, and parities could affect the breastfeeding self-efficacy,qualitycontrol circle could improve maternal breastfeeding self-efficacy.
