Objective To analyze the effect of meticulous nursing management on patients with malignant obstructive jaundice after percutaneous biliary stent implantation,to provide the basis for clinical nursing of malignant obstructive jaundice.
Methods Total 70 cases of malignant obstructive jaundice undergoing percutaneous biliary stent implantation in our hospital between May,2016 and May,2014 were enrolled and divided into study group and control group by random digits table with 35 cases in each group. The control group received the routine nursing, while the research group received the meticulous nursing intervention.Anxiety self-rating scale(SAS) and self-rating Depression Scale(SDS) score, postoperative complications and nursing satisfaction of both groups were observed before and after the nursing management.
Results There was no statistical difference in SAS and SDS score before the nursing intervention between the two groups. The SAS and SDS scores after nursing intervention of the two groups were significantly lower than those of the control group. The scores of SAS and SDS in the study group were lower than those in the control group(
P<0.05).The incidence rate of postoperative complications in the study group was 2.86%(1/35),which was significantly lower than that of the control group 20% (7/35),
P<0.05.The nursing satisfaction rate of the study group was 100.00%(35/35),which was significantly higher than that of the control group 82.86%(29/35),
P<0.05.
Conclusion The meticulous nursing care can reduce the incidence of complications, anxiety, depressive state of patients with malignant obstructive jaundice, have remarkable effect on the patients undergoing percutaneous biliary metal stent implantation, and is suitable for clinical application.
