Objective To study the fetal ventricular Tei index changes by using echocardiography, and to explore its relationship with preeclampsia.
Methods From December,2012 to December,2015,70 cases severe preeclampsia pregnant women (group A),70 cases mild preeclampsia pregnant women (group B) and 220 cases normal pregnant women (group C) in our hospital were recruited. All pregnant women were checked by echocardiography. The ventricular Tei index of different gestational weeks fetal of normal pregnant women was recorded, and the birth situation, index of ventricular function and Tei of each group were observed. The correlation between Tei of fetal in preeclampsia women and birth outcome was evaluated.
Results In normal pregnancy, the right ventricle Tei index was higher than the left ventricle Tei index of each gestational age,but the difference was not statistically significant (
P>0.05).The birth weight, gestational age of group A were less than that of group B and group C (
P<0.05),the Apgar scores at 1 minute and 5 minute after the birth of group A were less than those of group B and group C (
P<0.05).The left ventricular ejection fraction and right ventricular ejection fraction of group A were lower than that of group C (
P<0.05);the left ventricular isovolumic time and right ventricular isovolumic time of group A and group B were higher than that of group C (
P<0.05).the left ventricular Tei index and right ventricular Tei index of group A were higher than that of group B and group C (
P<0.05);the left ventricular Tei index and right ventricular Tei index group B were higher than that of group C (
P<0.05).The right ventricular Tei index of preeclampsia newborn were negatively correlated with fetal birth weight, gestational age,1 minute Apgar score,5 minutes Apgar score (
P<0.05).
Conclusion Ventricular Tei index can be used to evaluate fetal cardiac function. The cardiac function of preeclampsia fetus is usually with a certain degree of damage, which will affect fetal prognosis.Tei index has a certain value in predicting preeclampsia fetal prognosis.
