Objective To control nosocomial infections and improve nurse skills of operating room, and to compare the application effect before and after quality control circle (QCC).
Methods A total of 32 nurses in operating room were chosen for a series of QCC training,to explicit training objective, establish QCC group and explore patient's condition in department.Statistical software SPSS 14.0 was used to compare the application effect of QCC,including operating room infection and nursing skills;communication skills, theoretical knowledge, clinical operation skills and clinical practice ability of nurses in two groups were assessed;patient's satisfaction degree was compared through questionnaire.
Results The rate of nosocomial infection after QCC training (3.50%) was lower than that before training (13.00%),the difference was statistically significant (
P<0.05);patient's satisfaction after training (94.00%) was obviously higher than that before training (76.00%),the difference was statistically significant (
P<0.05).Nurse's communication skills, theoretical knowledge, operation skills and practice ability in operating room were significantly better after training than that before training (
P<0.05).
Conclusion QCC training can control nosocomial infection, improve nurse's communication skills with patients, harmonize the nurse-patient relationship, improve patient's satisfaction, and promote nurse's theoretical knowledge, professional operation skills and clinical practice ability, thus it is worthy of wider promotion and application.
