Effect of Tongxinluo capsule combined atorvastatin on blood lipids and inflammatory factor in patient with coronary heart disease

Objective To compare the effect of Tongxinluo capsule combine with atorvastatin and atorvastatin alone on the levels of blood lipids and inflammatory factors in patient with coronary heart disease. Methods One hundred and seventy-two cases of coronary heart disease in our hospital from March,2014 to March,2016 were randomly divided into two groups by random number method with 86 cases in each group.The patients in the control group were given atorvastatin,while the patients in the observation group were added Tongxinluo capsule based on the treatment of the control group.Before and after the treatment,the levels of blood lipids (TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C) and inflammatory factors (IL-4,IL-10,and IL-18) of the two groups were tested,and the efficacy and adverse reaction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 74.4%,which was significantly higher than 51.1% of the control group (P<0.05).Before the treatment,the difference in the levels of TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C between the two groups were not significantly (P>0.05).After the treatment,the levels of TG,TC,LDL-C and HDL-C of both groups were significantly improved (P<0.05),especially in the observation group (P<0.05).Before the treatment,the difference in the levels of IL-4,IL-10 and IL-18 between the two groups were not significantly (P>0.05).After the treatment,the levels of IL-4,IL-10 and IL-18 of both were significantly improved (P<0.05),and there was also significant difference in the levels of IL-4,IL-10 and IL-18 between the observation group and the control group (P<0.05).There was no serious adverse reaction in both groups. Conclusion Compared with atorvastatin alone,Tongxinluo capsule combined atorvastatin can more effectively improve the levels of blood lipid and inflammatory factor of patient with coronary heart disease,and the efficacy is satisfied.
