Objective To investigate the levels of serum cystatin C (CysC),β2-MG,creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in different stages of type 2 diabetic nephropathy and their diagnostic value.
Methods A total of 187 patients with type 2 diabetes in our hospital from January,2015 to November,2016 were selected.According to urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER),the patients were divided into group A (
n=75,UAER>30 mg/24 h),group B (71 cases,early diabetic nephropathy group,UAER:30-300 mg/24 h),group C (41 cases,clinical diabetic nephropathy,UAER>300 mg/24 h).And 70 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group.The CysC,β2-MG,Scr and BUN levels of four groups were measured and compared.
Results CysC,β2-MG,Scr and BUN levels of group A,B and C were significantly higher than those in control group (
P<0.05).CysC,β2-MG,Scr and BUN levels of group B and C were significantly higher than those in group A and control group (
P<0.05).CysC,β2-MG,Scr and BUN levels of group C were significantly higher than those in group B (
P<0.05).The positive rates of CysC,β2-MG in group A and B were significantly higher than those in Scr and BUN (
P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in group C (
P>0.05).CysC,β2-MG,Scr,BUN were all positively correlated (
P<0.05).
Conclusion CysC,β2-MG,Scr and BUN can be used as early diagnostic markers in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy.CysC and β2-MG are more valuable in early diagnosis and treatment.
