Objective To explore the application value of traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive nursing intervention in reducing postoperative swell of patients undergoing total knee replacement.
Methods Altogether 148 patients admitted to our hospital from February,2015 to August,2016 were treated with total knee arthroplasty.hey were randomly divided into two groups,with 74 cases in each group.he control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group was treated with TCM Comprehensive nursing intervention mirabilite,herbal fumigation combined with traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis.he conditions of both groups of patients after 1,3,7 d knee flexion,after 3,7 d,ipsilateral knee skin,swelling,flexion time,swelling disappeared time and occult blood loss were compared.
Results The observation group after 1,3,7 d knee flexion was significantly greater than the control group (
t=1.049,2.734,6.760,8.827,
P<0.01);the observation group after 3,7 d ipsilateral knee skin temperature was significantly lower than the control group (
t=4.482,4.944,
P<0.01);the observation group postoperative limb swelling significantly better than the control group (
Z=2.916,
P<0.01);the observation group postoperative flexion time,swelling disappeared time and occult blood loss were significantly lower than the control group (
t=8.505,12.011,3.075,
P<0.01).
Conclusion TCM Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on total knee arthroplasty after taking mirabilite and herbal fumigation combined with traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative swelling,increase joint mobility,and reduce the hidden blood loss.
