Objective To investigate the effect of chemotherapy combined with Qingfei mixture on immune function of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and provide reference for clinical treatment.
Methods Total 100 cases of advanced NSCLC in our department between August, 2015 and January, 2016 were enrolled and divided into control group (50 cases) and observation group (50 cases) according to the admission sequence alternation.The control group was treated with Methylene Changchun and cisplatin, while the observation group were treated with Qingfei mixture.Changes of T lymphocyte subsets on the base of the chemotherapy treatment of the control group, improvement of quality of life and adverse reactions after treatment of these two groups were compared.
Results The value of CD3
+, CD3
++ CD4
+, CD3
++CD8
+, the ratio of CD3
++ CD8
+ and the percentage of NK cells before the treatment had no significant difference between these two groups, the difference had no statistically significant (
P > 0.05).After the treatment, the value of CD3
+, CD3
++ CD4
+ and the percentage of NK cells of NSCLC patients in the observation group were significant higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (
P < 0.05).The improvement of quality of life in the observation group after the treatment was significantly better than that in the control group (96.00% vs.60.00%),
P <0.05.The incidence of adverse reactions including thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, gastrointestinal symptoms and liver injury were significantly lower than those of the control group (
P < 0.05).
Conclusion The Qingfei mixture can regulate the immune function of NSCLC patients, reduce immunosuppressant, enhance the body's immune defense mechanism, improve the prognosis of the patients, the immune function can be confirmed with the detection of T lymphocyte subsets by FCM.The combination application can be widely promoted.
