Objective To probe into the influence of comprehensive nursing intervention on internal fixation of proximal femoral nail in the treatment of hip fracture function in elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture,and to provide reliable basis for clinical rehabilitation guidance.
Methods We selected 98 cases of elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture treated with proximal femoral intramedullary nail fixation who was treated from May,2015 to May,2016 and agreed to participate in this research.And we randomly divided them into two groups,with 49 cases in the control group given routine nursing intervention including preoperative examination,medication guidance,reasonable diet,etc.and 49 cases in the observation group receiving comprehensive nursing intervention including preoperative preparation,psychological nursing,postoperative observation,complications prevention,pain nursing,functional exercise,etc.We used Harris scoring criteria to assess postoperative function recovery of hips,compared two groups of postoperative complications,and designed questionnaire at the same time to assess the satisfaction on the nursing.Postoperative function recovery of hip between groups was compared via the t test,and postoperative complications between groups by chi-square test,nursing satisfaction between groups by rank sum test,with
P<0.05 for statistical significance.
Results After treatment,the Harris score in the observation group was (86.81±10.62) score,which was higher than that in the control group (72.32±7.43) score,and the difference was statistically significant(
t=7.826,
P<0.05).The complication rate after operation in the observation group was 4.08%,which was lower than 18.37% in the control group,with statistical significance(χ
2=5.018,
P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 97.96%,97.96%,which was higher than 75.51% in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(
Hc=3.501,
P<0.05).
Conclusion The proximal femoral intramedullary nail fixation in elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures combined with comprehensive nursing intervention can promote the recovery of hip joint function,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of nursing.Therefore,it has good application effect.
