Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing model on the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer after operation, and to provide the basis for the corresponding nursing measures to improve the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer.
Methods We selected 60 patients with laryngeal carcinoma conformed by pathology for surgery who came from the otolaryngology head and neck surgery department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College from June,2014 to June,2015.The experimental group of 30 cases of laryngeal cancer patients with glottic type in 12 cases,17 cases of supraglottic, glottic type in 1 cases,29 cases were male,1 was female, the average age was (61.56±8.67) years,18 cases of partial resection of laryngeal surgery and total laryngectomy in 12 cases;30 cases of laryngeal cancer patients in the control group glottic type in 11 cases,19 cases of supraglottic type,30 cases were male, mean age (62.73±8.14) years,21 cases of partial laryngectomy in vocal cord resection and total laryngectomy patients for 9 cases. We used the standard control and self control, nursing with laryngeal carcinoma, experimental group implemented extended care mode on the basis of conventional nursing, using the Piper fatigue scale(R-PFS) and Chinese quality of life instrument for cancer patients-head and neck cancer(QLICP-HN) to assess the effect of intervention.
Results Related fatigue score in the experimental group of patients with laryngeal cancer was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(
P<0.05);the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer score in experimental group were improved to varied extent, higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Use of extended care model can improve the fatigue symptoms of patients with laryngeal cancer, relieve psychological pressure, for the rehabilitation and treatment of patients with tumor provides a good guarantee, and improve the patients'quality of life.
