Objective To investigate occurrence condition and risks of restenosis in patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation.
Methods Clinical data of 162 patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation from August,2010 to December,2014 were analyzed retrospectively.According to restenosis condition, all the patients were divided into restenosis group and non-restenosis group.Hypersensitive c-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and interleukin 6(IL-6) levels before operation and six months after operation were tested and compared between 2 groups, and then we analyzed risk factors of postoperative restenosis in patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation.
Results Among 162 patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation,31 cases had postoperative restenosis, and the restenosis rate was 19.14%.Age,diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipaemia and smoking had significant differences between restenosis group and non-restenosis group(
P<0.05).Before operation, the levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 showed no significant difference(
P>0.05),but decreased significantly at 6 months after operation(
P<0.05),and the levels of hs-CRP and IL-6 of non-restenosis group decreased more significantly than those in restenosis group(
P<0.05).Binary logistic multi-factor regression analysis results showed that hypertension, smoking and hs-CRP and IL-6 levels at 6 months after operation are risk factors of restenosis in patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation.
Conclusion Hypertension, smoking and hs-CRP and IL-6 levels at 6 months after operation are risk factors of restenosis in patients with cerebral artery stenosis stent implantation.Accordingly, measures can be taken to avoid or reduce rate of postoperative restenosis.
