The characteristics of hematological system disorders have determined that hematopathy is the key and difficult point in the clinical teaching,and how to impart these boring and lengthy knowledge to medical students and let them understand and master these knowledge is worthy of discussion.Balance describes a specific state of contradiction,which shows stability and contains the tendency of development.The fusion of knowledge about hematological system disorders and the concept of balance,which are both difficult to understand,and the balance between teaching and learning facilitate the understanding and master which needs the help of artistic methods which itself is essentially the art.Integrating the concept of balance into the teaching of hematology is a great "catalyst" for the instructional activities and clinical practicum.Combining the concept of balance and the teaching contents and the teaching approaches organically and artistically can not only improve the efficacy of teaching,but also show the charm of traditional Chinese culture and philosophy indirectly and contribute to the enhance of humanities.With the help of the concept of balance,questions such as how to treat both the symptoms of a disease and its causes,how to balance the effects and the side-effects of a drug,how to keep the hemostasis of internal environment,and how to reverse the mental disequilibrium and calm down the negative emotion of the patients can be taught more easily.In the knowledge impartment,lecturers should pay attention to the balance maintenance between the depth and breadth of the knowledge and whether this knowledge can fit the understandability of the students.Also,in teaching approaches,via the modern technologies and addition of some closely related concepts from our traditional culture,inducing-mode teaching based on "cases and problems" will help the final integration of theories and practice in the teaching of hematological diseases.
