Objective To analysis the effect of comfortable nursing on psychological status such as anxiety,depression and the quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).
Methods A total of 86 cases of RA patients in our hospital between March,2014 to July,2014 were recruited,and comfortable nursing was conducted since 2015 January 1,depending on this time line,41 patients from January,2015 to July,2015 were set as comfortable nursing group,including the body comfort nursing,psychological comfort nursing,social comfort nursing and others comfortable nursing method;while 45 patients between March,2014 to December,2014 were still implemented routine nursing and set as routine nursing group.Self-evaluation of anxiety scale(SAS) and depression self rating scale(SDS) was carried out to evaluate the mental health status,using brief life quality scale(SF-36) to analyze the quality of life,interviewed on admission and one day before leaving hospital respectively.SPSS statistical software was used to compare the difference of SAS,SDS and SF-36 before and after nursing between two groups.
Results There had no obvious difference of SAS,SDS and SF-36 score between two groups before nursing intervention(
P>0.05).Compared with the value before intervention,the SAS and SDS scores dropped in both groups after intervention,with statistically significance(
P<0.05),while the SF-36 scores increased(
P<0.05).In addition,the SAS,SDS and SF-36 score in comfortable nursing group after intervention were better than the routine nursing group,with statistical significance(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Comfortable nursing can help to regulate the psychological status,relieve the anxiety and depression caused by long time pain,and build up healthy and optimistic perspective,also help to improve the quality of life in RA patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
