Objective To cultivate the community nursing talents with scientific literacy and humanistic quality.
Methods According to the goal of nursing talents training of “Scientific literacy+humanities accomplishment” in our school,humanistic quality education was intergated into community nursing courses.Interview and questionnaire survey method were used to evaluate the effect of teaching reform.The evaluation form of scientific literacy and humanistic quality was used to compare the difference between the experience group and the control group.The evaluation questionnaire included 5 items,which were moral quality,cultural quality,legal quality,aesthetic quality and psychological quality.
Results The teachers believe that the students’ occupation occupation morality and dedication have been improved.The students reflect the learning interest in community,Nursing students think they deeper understand the meaning and responsibility of community nursing work.The questionnaire shows that moral quality,cultural quality,psychological quality and legal quality of the experimental group were (32.27±2.91),(41.01±4.96),(21.52±3.31),and (43.28±4.71) scores,significantly better than the control group students’ moral quality,cultural quality,legal quality and psychological quality(31.08±3.64,38.97±6.73,20.16±3.91,41.71±6.08),the difference is statistically significant(
P<0.05).
Conclusion The reform that nursing humanities education is permeated in teaching of community nursing,is helpful for the cultivation of community nursing talents with higher scientific literacy and humanistic quality.
