Objective To observe the affection of 8 weeks aerobic exercise on sleep quality and emotional impact in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).
Methods Total 60 cases of AMI undergoing PCI were enrolled and randomly divided into exercise group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The control group received the routine drug therapy, while the exercise group received additional cardiopulmonary exercise testing on the basis of the routine drug treatment, and individualized exercise prescription for 8 weeks aerobic exercise with 20%-59% of their heart rate reserve.PSQI,SAS and SDS were used to assess the sleep quality and emotional evaluation before and after the treatment.
Results The total PSQI scores in the exercise group decreased by 3.16(
P<0.01),which was obviously lower than that in the control group(
P<0.05);the score for items such as subjective sleep quality, sleep latency, sleep sustainability, habitual sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, use of sleep medicine and daytime dysfunction were all decreased significantly(
P<0.01).The score for SAS and SDS in the exercise group decreased by 9.07 and 12.06,respectively(
P<0.01),that was lower than that in the control group(
P<0.01).
Conclusion The 8 weeks low-to moderate-intensity cardio exercise can be safe and improve the sleep quality and anxiety in AMI patients undergoing stenting operation.
