Objective To evaluate the clinical incidence and therapeutic measures of lower extremity arterial ischemic disease.
Methods The clinical data of 228 patients with lower extremity arterial ischemic disease were retrospectively analyzed, which included drug treatment, embolectomy, catheter directed thrombolysis(CDT),percutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA),artery bypass grafting, amputation and the combination of a variety of treatments who were admitted to our hospital from January,2014 to July,2015.
Results There were 87 cases of acute arterial ischemia,48 cases of acute artery embolism,39 cases of acute arterial thrombosis,79 cases were effective(90.8%),8 cases were invalid(9.2%),amputation in 7(8.0%),die in 1(1.2%);in 141 cases of chronic ischemia,atherosclerosis occlusion(ASO) in 105 cases,thromboangiitis obliterans(TAO) in 36 cases,effective in 127 cases(90.1%),invalid in 14 cases(9.9%),amputation in 12(8.5%),die in 2(1.4%).
Conclusion The increasing incidence of ischemic disease of lower extremity,if treatment is not timely, disability, lethal rate is higher,in order to reduce the morbidity and mortality rate,it should be according to the priorities of the disease, lesion location and the characteristic of combining the patients' conditions considering the choice of drugs, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, open surgery or a combination of a variety of treatments.
