Objective To investigate the status of construction and development of community health service system in Tianhe district and provide information and reference for the promotion of the reform and development of the regional community health service.
Methods By using self-designed structured questionnaire,27 community health service centers in Tianhe district were surveyed for the basic situation of the community health service centers,human resources,financial payments and community health service delivery etc.Moreover,a survey for the satisfaction of treatment process,facilities and equipment,medical technology,service attitude etc.was conducted among 434 clients from district 12 community health service centers using occasional method.
Results The residents of the Tianhe district showed somewhat satisfaction at the community health service,included the highest satisfaction (4.28±0.71,4.23±0.65) at the distance between the abode and service centers and medical procedures,and lowest satisfaction at facilities and the diagnosis and treatment technology (3.95±0.81,4.06±0.68),there were difference in the satisfaction among the different occupational groups (
P<0.05).A lot of problems such as the not balanced allocation of resources,insufficient government input,comparatively fall behind of hardware requirements,lower overall quality of health care workers and so on were widely existed in community health service centers.
Conclusion To improve community health service network,increase financial investment,encourage social capital participation,bring forth the new mechanism that attract quality resources,regard the regulation function of medical insurance,and intensify efforts to attract talents will contribute to the development of community health services in Tianhe district.
