Vulvovaginal candidiasis(VVC),a kind of opportunistic mucosal infection caused by candida albicans infection,is one of the leading causes of infection diseases in women's vagina,with shoddy school sample leucorrhea and vulvar itching.It is estimated that VVC affects about 75% reproductive women during their lifetime,among which approximately half will experience further episodes.In addition,a small percentage of women(5%-8%) will develop the recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis(RVVC).In recent years,the incidence rate of VVC has been obviously increased because of the abuse of antibiotics and immunity inhibitors.Several strategies have been adopted at clinical in order to prevent and cure the vulvovaginal candidiasis.However,most of candida species have been shown to develop resistance to the conventional antifungal drugs,posing a serious threat to the health of patients.Therefore,revealing the pathogenesis of vulvovaginal candidiasis and its drug resistance mechanism has important guiding significance for its prevention and control.
