    Abstract
  •   Objective  To observe the efficacy of Ningxin Kangqiao Sleeping Formula combined with acupoint application therapy in patients with myocardial bridge and insomnia, and to provide a new way for the treatment of this disease.  Methods  A total of 90 patients with myocardial bridge and insomnia selected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2022 to November 2023 were used the random number table method divided into the conventional group (30 cases), traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) group (30 cases), and medicine acupoint group (30 cases).The conventional group was given general Western medicine treatment for myocardial bridge, and alprazolam tablets were administered for insomnia.The Chinese medicine group was treated with the Ningxin Kangqiao Sleeping Formula in addition to the treatment of the conventional group.The medicine acupoint group was treated with the application of the Yongquan acupoint in addition to the treatment of the Chinese medicine group.The changes of TCM syndrome scores and Pittsburgh sleep quality index were compared to verify their clinical efficacy and evaluate their safety.  Results  Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the total TCM syndrome score and PSQI score among the three groups (P>0.05).After treatment, the total TCM syndrome scores[(12.26±2.27) points, (7.70±2.37) points, (5.55±2.28) points]and PSQI scores[(12.43±2.08) points, (11.17±2.28) points, (9.33±1.45) points]of the three groups were significantly different (P < 0.001).After treatment, the PSQI and total TCM syndrome scores of the three groups were significantly improved, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).The total TCM syndrome score and PSQI score of the TCM group were better than those of the conventional group, and the scores of the medicine acupoint group were better than those of the TCM group and the conventional group.  Conclusion  The addition and subtraction of Ningxin Kangqiao Sleeping Formula combined with acupoint application therapy in the treatment of patients with Qi and Yin deficiency, stasis and disturbance myocardial bridge with insomnia has a better effect in improving TCM symptoms and sleep, and has a good clinical safety.
