Objective To investigate thelife quality situation and influencing factors of lung cancer patients before and after chemotherapy.
Methods Total 86 lung cancer patients in our hospital between January 2012 and December 2014 were enrolled into thisstudy.Four cycles chemotherapy was carried out in all patients.EORTC QLQ-30 questionnaire was used to survey the quality of life,health average score and their relationship with the influencing factors.
Results The physical score,moodscores,communityrating,dyspneascore,quality of life scores after four cycles chemotherapy were significantly lower than that before chemotherapy(
P<0.05),the nausea and vomiting score,ratinginsomnia,loss of appetite score,constipation and diarrhea scores after four cycles chemotherapy were significantly higher than that before chemotherapy(
P<0.05),the healthy average score of advanced lung cancer patients were no significant correlation with the age,gender,histological type,education level and the underlying disease(
P>0.05).The anorexia score of female lung cancer patients was higher than males patients(
P<0.05),the appetite score,constipation score,nausea score of patients aged over 60 were significantly higher than that of patients aged less than 60(
P<0.05),the insomnia scores of patients with low educational level was significantly higher than that of patients with high education level (
P<0.05),the fatigue scores of patients with underlying disease was higher than patients without underlying disease(
P<0.05).
Conclusion The physical score,mood scores,social score,dyspnea score,quality of life scores after chemotherapy in advanced lung cancer patients will decrease,and the nausea,vomiting score,insomnia score,loss of appetite score,constipation,diarrhea rates may increase.The quality of life in patients with advanced lung cancer is related with gender,age,and education level and basis diseases.
