Objective To investigate the effect and safety of propofol combined with ketamine in miniature pig model of lower limb deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
Methods Twenty Ba-ma miniature pigs were randomly divided into observation group and control group (
n=10),penehyclidiner 0.02 mg/kg and ketamine 8 mg/kg were injected in the back of the neck muscle. The observation group received the intravenous infusion maintenance of anesthesia with propofol[5 mg/(kg·h)] and ketamine[5 mg/(kg·h)],while the control group received intravenous maintenance of anesthesia with ketamine[5 mg/(kg·h)].The anaesthetic effects, induction time, mortality, circulatory and respiratory system index were recorded in both groups.
Results The anesthesia effect of the two groups was good, there was no death case. The anesthesia induction time was (2.62±1.12)min in the observation group, which was significantly shorter than (4.28±1.31)min in the control group(
P<0.05);T,HR,RR,SpO
2,MAP,MV,PetCO
2,TV and other indexes of the two groups were not statistically significant(
P>0.05);T after the injection of anesthetics showed a downward trend in both groups,T
5,T
6 and T
0 were significant between the two groups(
P<0.05);RR,MAP,MV and TV in both groups showed a decreasing trend after the injection of anesthetics, and the difference between T
0 and T
1-T
6 was statistically significant(
P<0.05).
Conclusion Propofol combined with ketamine is a safe and effective, and can be widely used in animal model of Ba-Ma mini pig.
