Objective CKD failed to get timely and effective treatment, and ultimately into the end of end-stage renal failure will require long-term renal replacement therapy.Calcium dobesilate was first used in diabetic retinopathy, and it was found to be effective for diabetic nephropathy.Renal Failure Granules used to renal insufficiency patients caused by various reasons. To observe the effects of Renal Failure Granules and calcium dobesilate on the chronic kidney disease.
Methods One hundred and twenty patients with stage 3-4 CKD caused by primary chronic glomerulonephritis were put into three groups including 40 patients taking calcium dobesilate.Thirty-eight patients took Renal Failure Granules and 42 patients took Renal Failure Granules and calcium dobesilate. The patients took 500 mg of calcium dohesilate two times a day,one pack of Renal Failure Granules three times a day.day.Then observe the levels of serum creatinine(Cr).Urea nitrogen(BUN) and glomerular filtration rate(GFR) before treatment and after four weeks of treatment and eight weeks of treatment.
Results ①Cr,eGFR,and BUN were not significantly different in the 3 groups before treatment, the Cr and BUN were decreased after 4 weeks,8 weeks after treatment, and eGFR was increased, and it was statistically significant(
P<0.01).②Compared with the combined treatment group and calcium dobesilate group, the Cr and BUN in the combined treatment group were decreased after 4 weeks,8 weeks after treatment, and eGFR was increased, and it was statistically significant(
P<0.05).③Compared with the combined treatment group and Renal Failure Granules group, the BUN in the combined treatment group were decreased and eGFR was increased after 4 weeks,8 weeks after treatment, and it was statistically significant(
P<0.05).The Cr in the combined treatment group was decreased after 8 weeks.
Conclusion Separate use of calcium dobesilate and renal failure granules can improve renal function of patients with stage 3-4 CKD,but the two drug combination therapy is more significant.
