Risk factors analysis of 68 cases of children with cerebral palsy

Objective To investigate the risk factors of children with cerebral palsy and provide reference data for clinical treatment. Methods Total 68 cases of children with cerebral palsy in our hospital from August,2014 to August,2015 were assigned into observation group,and 136 healthy children in medical and health department for health examination in the same period were recruited into control group.This study was carried out by ways of 1:2 matched methods.The factors of father smoking status,mother childbearing age,family history,pregnancies number,production times,pre-pregnancy menstrual status,nutritional status,pregnancy disease status,delivery mode,premature birth,birth weight,neonatal asphyxia,neonatal infection,kernicterus,and neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy of two groups were accounted and analyzed by univariate and multivariate analyzes. Results Univariate analysis results showed:mother childbearing age,family history,premature birth,birth weight,neonatal asphyxia,kernicterus,and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy were the independent risk factors for children with cerebral palsy.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis results showed:mother childbearing age,family history,premature birth,birth weight,neonatal asphyxia,kernicterus,and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy are the multivariate risk factors for children with cerebral palsy. Conclusion In recent year,incidence rate of children cerebral palsy is increasing year by year,children cerebral palsy is caused by collective effect of variety factors in clinical.The mother childbearing age,family history,premature birth,birth weight,neonatal asphyxia,kernicterus,and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy are the risk factors for children with cerebral palsy.This show the high incidence population of cerebral palsy and provide an epidemiological evidence for early rehabilitation on them.
