Objective To study the postoperative pregnancy of infertility patients with endometriosis,and to analyze the risk factors for postoperative pregnancy rate after laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis.
Methods Total 200 cases of endometriosis related infertility undergoing laparoscopic surgery in our hospital between March,2010 and March,2014 were enrolled into this study.The postoperative pregnancy rate of infertility patients with endometriosis was observed,and the influence of endometriosis stage,lesion location,lesion diameter and age on the postoperative pregnancy rate was assessed.
Results Six months after the surgery,the total pregnancy cases was 21 cases and total pregnancy rate was 10.5%(21/200);6-12 months after the surgery,the total pregnancy cases was 25 cases and total pregnancy rate was 12.5%(25/200);more than 12 months after the surgery,the total pregnancy cases was 11 cases and total pregnancy rate was 5.5%(11/200).The differences in the pregnancy rate for difference endometriosis stage,lesion site,diameter and ages were statistically significant(χ
2=14.017,19.488 and 11.946,
P<0.05).The postoperative pregnancy rate decreased with the higher endometriosis stage,more lesion site,larger lesion diameter and higher age of patients.
Conclusion The pregnancy rate during one year after the operation in infertility patients with endometriosis is relatively high.The endometriosis stage,lesion location,lesion diameter and age will affect the postoperative pregnancy rate.
