Objective At present,the grassroots medical service status stand in backwater,the low level of community health service quality hindered the process of our new health care reform,therefore,the country started the comprehensive promotion of community health service project.Improving the general practitioner performance is the inevitable choice of community health service project.The paper aims to explore the relationship between transformational leadership and task performance of general practitioner,and test the mediating role of organizational ownership behavior.
Methods The stratified sampling method was used to collect 263 community health service institution in Harbin,Daqing,Suihua,Heihe,Daxinganling and Qiqihar,and the questionnaire survey was conducted among the delegates from those community health service institution.The hierarchical multiple regressions were used to test the relationship between variables and mediating effect.
Results Transformational leadership had a significantly positive influence on organizational ownership behavior (β=0.334,
P<0.01) and task performance (β=0.334,
P<0.01),and organizational ownership behavior had positive effects on the task performance (β=0.486,
P<0.01).The organizational ownership behavior played the fully mediating role (β=0.459,
P<0.01).
Conclusion The transformational leadership significantly affects the performance of general practitioner by the conduction of organizational ownership behavior.This article explored the action mechanism between the relations of variables based on three theoretical perspectives.
