Efficacy of TCM nursing countermeasures on chronic renal failure with pulmonary infection

Objective To observe the effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing countermeasures on the chronic renal failure with pulmonary infection. Methods All 62 cases of chronic renal failure with pulmonary infection in hospital from August,2012 to April,2014 were assigned into intervention group,while all 51 cases of chronic renal failure with pulmonary infection from July,2010 to July,2012 were selected as control group.The control group was given the general nursing;while the intervention group was given Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing additionally,including emotional nursing,diet nursing,Chinese medicine enema nursing.The clinical therapeutic effect,pulmonary infection recurrence,and the GFR 1 month after admission were compared between the two groups.The experimental data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software,measurement data with x±s using t test,count data using Chi-square test. Results The total effective rate of control group and intervention group were 56.87% and 88.71%,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(χ²=14.87,P<0.001);The recurrence rate of the two groups was 24.14% and 7.27%,respectively,the recurrence rate of intervention group rate decreased obviously,the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.75,P=0.029);and the change of GFR 1 month after admission was 4.08±0.44 and 6.57±0.89,respectively,the difference was statistically significant(t=19.34,P<0.01). Conclusion Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing can effectively supply adjuvant treatment for chronic renal failure with pulmonary infection,the recurrence rate of the infections is low,the clinical efficacy can be improved obviously.TCM nursing measures can effectively assist patients to improve their own immunity and have broad clinical significance.
