Objective To investigate the effect and complications of laparoscopic abdominal wall hernia repair for incisional hernia,and provide reference for clinical surgical treatment.
Methods A total of 97 cases of incisional hernia in our hospital from December,2012 to December,2015 were selected and divided into laparoscopic group(
n=49)and open group(
n=48) according to the random number table method.The laparoscopic group received laparoscopic abdominal wall hernia repair,while the open group received the open abdominal hernia repair.The operation time,abdominal wall defect,the amount of intraoperative bleeding,postoperative hospital stay,postoperative complications and recurrence of 12 months follow-up were compared between the two groups.
Results The operative time of the laparoscopic group[(59.83±3.56)min] was shorter than that in the open group[(72.35±5.16)min],the amount of bleeding[(32.40±5.47)ml] was less than that in the open group[(71.32±7.69)ml],the postoperative hospitalization time[(6.48±1.35)d] was shorter than that in the open group[(9.24±2.18)d],and the difference was statistical significant(
P<0.05).The abdominal wall defect area in the laparoscopic group was (65.08±6.34)cm
2,in the open group was (66.42±7.18)cm
2,there was no significant difference(
P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications of the laparoscopic group(6.12%) was lower than that of the open group(22.92%,
P<0.05).The recurrence rate in the laparoscopic group during the 12 months follow-up was 4.08%,and in the control group was 8.33%,and there was no statistical difference(
P>0.05).
Conclusion The efficacy of laparoscopic abdominal wall hernia repair is superior to the open surgery for patients with incisional hernia,with lower incidence of postoperative complications.,it has important research value and is worthy of further clinical application.
