Objective To analyze the clinical value of Baofukang suppository and Zaoshiqingdu decoction in the treatment of cervicitis with human papillomavirus(HPV) infection by pharmacoeconomic evaluation methods.
Methods Total 213 patients with cervicitis as well as HPV infection were divided into 2 groups according to treatment methods,and all the patients were given human recombinant interferon alpha 2b gel,1 g every time,qid.In addition,the patients in Group A were given Zaoshiqingdu decoction,400 ml/d,each 200 ml morning and night,and those in Group B were given Baofukang suppository,one grain every day.All the patients were treated for 3 days after menstruation,and treated for 2 courses every month used 10 d as a course of treatment,and the total treatment time was 3 months.The clinical effect between groups was compared,at the same time,cost-effectiveness analysis was completed to calculate cost effectiveness ratio(AC/E) and incremental cost effectiveness ratio(△AC/△E).
Results There was significant difference in age of patients and vaginal cleanness between the two groups(
P<0.05);but there was no significant difference in disease course,TCM score,HPV-DNA expression and HPV types(
P>0.05).The clinical effective rate of Group A was higher than that of Group B(
Z=-3.240,
P=0.001),the incidence of complications of Group A and Group B was respectively 4.9% and 1.9%,and there was no statistical significance between groups(χ
2=0.780,
P=0.377).The AC/E of Group A and Group B was 17.03 and 14.34,respectively,and the △AC/△E was 25.81.The sensitiveness was analyzed by 3 cycles Bootstrap method,and got an average △AC/△E level of 27.61,which was similar with the results of cost-effectiveness analysis.
Conclusion The clinical effect of Zaoshiqingdu decoction can get higher effective rate in the treatment of cervicitis with HPV infection,but Baofukang suppository get higher cost performance,and we can choice flexible according to the needs of patients.
